Lion Energy Solar Generator Kits

Our Lion Energy Solar Generator Kits are balanced systems made up of high-quality components that fit well together to insure the generators work in most environments and provide power for a variety of needs.

Our kits are portable and consists of: 

  • Lion Energy 100 W Folding Solar Panels. Solar panels that capture the sun’s energy and produce direct current (DC) power.  This power supply fluctuates with the sunlight's intensity. 
  • The Lion Energy Ascent Solar Generator that converts the panels DC power into certain desired voltages or alternating current (AC), through the use of an internal inverter.  The inverter produces power at the desired voltage, and for AC, the desired frequency/phase.  This is power that will power an array of electric devices including smartphones, computers, appliances, and power tools. Our solar generator also has an internal battery to store power which allows the generator to operate at night and at times of limited sunlight. 
  • Lion Energy Ascent 100 Amp Expansion Battery. An option component that when added to the system, triples the usable power supply.

The Panels: Lion 100 W Folding Solar Panels

hn-solar-panel-clean.pngThe solar panels powers the solar generator. They're rated by their watt generation capabilities.  Our 100 watt panel generates 100 watts of power in full sun. In most areas of the United States full sun occurs for about 6 hours during the day, 10 AM to 4 PM pm.  At other times of the day, the panels still generate power, but at a lessor rate.  During an average day, our 100 watt panel generates an average of 71 watts.

Our solar panels are a separate unit which allows them to be easily moved to track the sun, this allows you to capture more of the sun's power as the sun moves across the sky. 

The more panels, the more power available to use. 

Our system allows for up to 4 panels.

Actually during a normal day 4 panels will supply an average of approximately 284 watts, but remember, it depends on sunshine.

Charge Controller to make sure the battery charges properly. 

 

During the daylight hours the solar panels collect power and send it to the generator where it is used to fill your electrical needs. The surplus power from the panels is stored in the battery.  The battery power is used when the sun isn't shining.  The battery can also be recharged by plugging the generator into a regular wall outlet for a few hours.  

The generator has two regular AC outlets, 1 DC outlet (car cigarette lighter size), and a few USB outlets for phones and computers.  It has a LCD screen which shows output power for each output and input power when charging.

Lion Ascent Expansion Battery

This extra battery pack works as an extension of the generator's internal battery, it simply triples the generator's storage capacity. 

 

Anyone can use this solar system.   You simply plug the solar panels into the generator and you have power.
